- To promote football for boys and girls in the local community
- To promote awareness of East Grinstead Town Football Club and enable local children to join EGTFC
- To help establish girls' football teams at EGTFC at Under 10, 11 and 12 age groups
- To provide curriculum coaching in school time
- To provide a Skills Centres for boys and girls
- Assist secondary school pupils to obtain Level 1 FA Coaching badge to allow them to support coaching in skills centre

- Provided 7 football holiday courses for boys and girls aged 6 - 12 years all excellently attended
- Organised a Futsal Tournament for local football teams and school teams for both boys and girls
- Provided a 5 week girls after school coaching initiative in association with Mid Sussex Schools Partnership attended by 80 girls
- Provided after school football clubs at Estcots, St. Marys, Baldwins Hill, The Meads, Halsford Park and Copthorne Primary schools for both girls and boys and a girls club at Sackville. Currently still running Spring Term 2008
- Facilitated secondary school pupils to develop coaching skills
- Organised a girls' football tournament
- Opened Football Development Centre in September 2007 based at Imberhorne Upper School, currently attended by 90 children , including a specialist girls group
- Established Saturday morning Skills Centre for Reception and Year 1 pupils, based at Estcots School
- Schools curriculum coaching commenced September 2007 at Estcots school, now being extended to St. Mary's Primary School, providing specialist football coaching within the school day
- Provided coaching for the Mid Sussex Schools Partnership for Year 7 girls' football and Year 7 boys' futsal.

Holiday Football Courses for boys and girls aged 6 - 12 years
East Grinstead Football Academy is working with East Grinstead Town Football Club to promote Football in the Community.
All courses run by qualified, CRB checked FA coaches.
Venue: Sackville School, Bourg de Peage Avenue, East Grinstead on Red Gra all weather surface
Please note change of venue for the February Course
February half term - Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd February 2008 - 9.30 - 2.30 pm
Cost of 2 day course - £25.00. Single days available at £15.00
All players taking part will require:
- a packed lunch
- drinks
- football boots and trainers
- shin pads
- appropriate clothing for the weather conditions
